Environmental Planning: Town of Waterford Generic Environmental Impact Statement

In 2016, the Town of Waterford worked to update its Town Comprehensive Plan.  As part of its adoption process, CP&EA was retained to evaluate that Plan and develop a Generic Environmental Impact Statement as per SEQRA Part 617.  Working with the Town Board, CP&EA worked with the Town Engineer to analyze each recommended strategy in the plan and identify potential environmental impacts, potential mitigations, and criteria and thresholds for future SEQR actions.  The Town of Waterford Comprehensive Plan GEIS will be a tool the Town can use to guide its future implementation of Plan recommendations, and future SEQR actions before the Planning Board.
