Town of Peru, Clinton County

The Town of Peru has decided that it is time to update their 30 year old Town plan. Over the past few years, new residential and commercial growth along with an increase in the number of requests for zoning variances has made it clear that our current land use regulations are not adequate. Although several updates to the 1973 plan have been completed, it is prudent, given current growth patterns, to involve the community in a new comprehensive planning process.

The Town held its first two public meetings on November 5th. Over 50 community members participated in the two workshops designed to gather information on the various challenges facing the town. We will be posting information on the planning process to this web page as we progress. For now, you can view the following items:
