The Town of Cairo is in the process of implementing its comprehensive plan through the formation of a zoning commission. We have put together this web page to make the adopted comprehensive plan, meeting minutes, maps, and draft documents accessable to the residents of the town.

The Zoning Commission Handout explains why the zoning commission was set up, what it will do, and how they will involve the public in the process.


The committee is reviewing a draft Site Plan Review Law.This law, which includes an Application and Checklist, is one way to ensure that new development is consistent with some of the goals established in the comprehensive plan.
